If you’ve followed my blog for a while you will know that I’m always looking for a good black dress I can make a statement in. When I saw this cowl neck high low swing dress on the SheIn website I knew I had to get it! I’m a suckler for anything comfy and I knew just by the looks of this dress that it was going to be right up my alley in terms of comfort level. And oh was I right! This swing dress just flows and moves with your body making it a really fun dress to wear out!
I love how I can easily dress up or down with this dress. By adding my new leopard coat I instantly felt more glamorous. I thought it was fun to showcase how you can wear this dress during the day and through the night by adding a jacket or coat. Versatile pieces like this dress are definitely something I enjoy having in my closet.
It’s always been a dream of mine to collaborate with fashion brands and lately thanks to this blog I have been able to do so. For about 3 years, I’ve known of SheIn which is an online fashion brand that sells items at a very reasonable price point. Although I have “window shopped” on the Shein website over the past couple of years. I have never actually purchased anything because I wasn’t sure if the quality was going to be what I thought it would be. So when they reached out asking if I was interested in reviewing one of their items I was thrilled to say the least. When I got this dress in the mail, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and how well made it was. This dress is under $20 making it super affordable and considering how I can style it in numerous way I know I will get a lot of use out of it.
Styling this shoot was so much fun and I have my friend Elissa to thank for that because being able to collaborate with my best friend just made this whole experience 100 times more enjoyable. She had some great ideas on how I should pose and where I should stand which was great. Thanks to her I was able to really showcase how this dress can work during the day and night. I also love being able to shoot at this location which made me feel like I was back in London again! I felt like I was really able to play off of my surroundings which really brought this whole look together.
I would like to thank SheIn for gifting me the dress. The link for SheIn does track (meaning they just track where the traffic is coming from) but it is not affiliated. I would like to also thank Sunglass.LA for gifting me these beautiful sunglasses (link is also not affiliated). As always opinions are my own.
Until next time!
